My photographic style developed through my love of art and photography. My photography is a practical investigation to explore the beauty, the ugly and sublime elements of nature and the incredible link between nature and our emotions, spiritually and physically. I adore the small things which often go unnoticed or taken for granted. Nature is forever transforming and evolving, and photography is a tool which can freeze and capture a moment in time that will never be repeated. Nature is truly unique and precious, like life on earth, and nature is a forever reminder of the short time we have on this planet. I want the viewer to experience a new perspective on the natural world and a new emotional response to the environment around them. My main aim to create work that is different, daring and challenges the normal expectations of nature.
